Clara Mae Ward

Clara Mae Ward Clara Mae Ward, 86 of Elkton, MD, passed away on December 30, 2010 surrounded by her family. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on March, 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ada Sampson DeBaugh. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Willard R. Ward of Elkton; two daughters, Helen Ward and her husband Joe Kachmar of Elkton, MD, Mary Otto and her husband Rodney of Elkton, MD; two grandchildren, Kelly and Rodney Otto. Clara Mae was preceded in death by her parents and her 12 siblings. Clara Mae was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkton, MD, for over 50 years were she devoted and enjoyed many of those years caring for the infants in the nursery. She will be deeply missed by her family and the many life long friends she has acquired throughout her life. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with a viewing for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM and services commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jim McBride of First Baptist Church of Elkton will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at the North East United Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
