Christine C. Hormanski

Christine C. Hormanski, 96 of Newark, DE, died Monday, September 2, 2024 in the Somerford Place, Newark, DE.

Born in Central Falls, RI on December 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Maliborski and Frances (Golis) Maliborski.

Christine attended St. Joseph’s School, Central Falls High School and a nurses Training program for WWII support. She attended mass daily at St. Johns Holy Angels. She volunteered in many capacities, the most recent with Rosary Sodality. She was a fan of General Hospital since 1962. Christine also worked as a part-time lunch Lady at Carrie Downie School.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Stanley J. Hormanski; and her two brothers and four sisters.

Survived by one daughter: Mary Gallo (David) of Wilmington, DE; and three sons: Stanley J Hormanski, Jr. (Laura Hamilton) of Elkton, MD, Robert J Hormanski (Angela) of Central Falls, RI and John M Hormanski (Lynn) of South Bethany, DE; one sister: Helen Juskiewicz of Norwood, MA. Christine had a large family of eight grandkids and two step grandchildren along with eight great grandchildren and two step great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.
