Born in India, on February 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Chunibhai and the late Shantaben Patel.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Patel was a banker with the State Bank of India.
He is survived by his loving wife: Bhanumati Patel of North East, MD: 2 children: Tapan Patel of North East, MD and Pauravi Majethia of Tampa, FL; and 5 grandchildren: Maya, Riya, Priya, Saagar and Suraj.
The family will welcome friends and family from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
