Charles Frederick Yackanech

Charles Frederick “Fred” Yackanech, 64 of Wilmington, DE, died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at home.

Born in Clarksburg, WV, on June 20, 1951, he was the son of Mike and Mary Virginia (Criss) Yackanech.

Fred, who was a research technician at Hercules, enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing pool.

Survived by his wife: Lynn T. Buckley; daughter: Lindy Tad Yackanech of West Palm Beach, FL; sister: Patricia A. Hughes of Tallahassee, FL;and two brothers: Michael E. Yackanech of North East, MD, Richard A. Yackanech of Elkton, MD; and a special friend, Matthew Beckman of Wilmington, DE.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. There will be a viewing 1 hour before the service.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East., MD.
