Charles Dunton Tull, 91, of Elkton, MD, died Monday, March 14, 2016 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.
Born in Pocomoke, MD, on March 29, 1924, he was the son of the late Eugene and the late Alice (Dunton) Tull. He was the husband of the late Mildred Simpers Tull who died on July 25, 2006.
Mr. Tull proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a master plumber for the U.S. Government at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
He was a member of the North East United Methodist Church, North East Lions Club and was the oldest living member of the North East Fire Company.
Survivors include his children: daughter, Susan T. Wilson and son, Gene Tull both of Elkton, MD; 5 grandchildren: Aaron Wilson of Denver, CO, Seth Wilson and his wife Michelle of Denver, CO who are expecting their first child next week, Laura Wilson Boston and her husband Brian of Houston, TX and daughter, Bailey, Matthew Tull of Baltimore, MD and Malorie Tull of Phoenixville, PA.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his 3 brothers: Paul, William and Kenneth.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North East Methodist Church, North East Lions Club or the North East Fire Company, all in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St. North East, MD 21901.
