Charles Dean Rowland

Charles Dean Rowland, 73 of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on April 13, 1950, he was the son of the late Willard Isaac Rowland and Ruby Bernice (Farmer) Rowland.

Charlie was an antique appraiser.  He enjoyed antiquing, bluegrass, cookouts, John Deere tractors and loved his family and the time spent with them most of all.

Survivors include his beloved wife of just shy of 47 years: Deborah (Green) Rowland; three daughters: Chara "Belle" Rowland (Rene Kobeitri) of Philadelphia, PA, Laura J. Rowland (James Walker) of Elkton, MD and Tiffany F. Rowland (Tommy Rowland) of West Chester, PA; his siblings: James Rowland of AK, Wilmer Rowland of Abingdon, VA, Jerry Rowland of AK, Sandra Reed of Elkton, MD and Joyce Collins of Sevierville, TN; and twin granddaughters: Brianna L. Thompson and Victoria A. Fortman.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was also preceded by his brother: Wilbur Rowland.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
