Charles Mckinney

Charles D. "Danny" McKinney, 58 of North East, MD, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton, MD, on January 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Edgar McKinney, Sr. and Verna Heverin McKinney, of North East, MD. He served our country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a security officer before retiring due to a disability. Mr. McKinney was a member of St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, North East, MD. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by one son: Walter McKinney of Elkton, MD; a brother: Edgar R. McKinney, of Elkton, MD; a stepson: Brandon Criddle of Elkton, MD; and 3 stepgrandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
