Charles P. Harrity, Jr.

Charles P. Harrity, Jr. 73 of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at home with his family by his side.

Born in Wilmington, DE on April 6, 1951, he was the son of the late, Natalie (Phelps) and Charles P. Harrity, Sr.

Charles retired after 37 years from Verizon as a switching electronic technician. He was a member of St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church, North East, MD.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years: Donna J. Harrity; children: Shawn P. Harrity (Giselle) of Sammamish, WA and Jeffrey C. Harrity (Angie) of Forest Hill, MD; and grandchildren: Logan, Maximo, Riley and Bella.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Interment will follow services in the Christine Cameron Memorial Garden at St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church or the Amedisys Foundation, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.
