Charles Frederick

Charles "Buddy" Frederick, age 76, of Helena, AL, formerly of North East, MD, died Friday, November 26, 2004, in Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, AL. Born in North East, MD, on May 5, 1928, he was a son of the late John and Maude Frederick. Mr. Frederick was a self-employed truck driver. He served in the U.S. Air Force and the Merchant Marines. He was a member of Kingwood Assembly of God, and the V.F.W. Post 6027, North East, MD. In addition to his parents, Mr. Frederick was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Thomas Frederick, who died February 6, 1985; his daughter, Susan Frederick; four brothers, who lived in North East, MD; and a sister, who lived in Rising sun, MD. Survivors include his children, Linda Martinez, Charles Frederick, Jr., Joseph C. Frederick, Deborah Farmer, and Carlyn Robertson; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2004, at Memroial Funeral Home, Princeton, WV, where friends may call from 12 Noon prior to the services. Rev. Ralph Massie will officiate. Interment will be in New Zion Cemetery, Oakvale, WV.
