Charles Curtis Childers Charles Curtis Childers, 70, of North East, MD, died Monday, February 7, 2005 in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. He was born in Busy, KY, on April 10, 1934 and retired from Cincinnati Bell, after 30 years in management. He served for the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Childers was a member of Masonic College Hill Lodge #264 in Cincinnati, OH, and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. in North College Hill, Cincinnati, OH. Survivors include his wife, Icelena Childers, North East, MD; mother, Lutisha Childers, Elkton, MD; five children, Cindy, and husband Dan Niesen, Cincinnati, OH, Chuck, Jr. and wife Mihwa Childers, Hebron, KY, Mark and wife Nicole Childers, Holliday, FL, Dawn and husband Matt Barbato, Fair Hill, MD, and Heather and husband Al Ford, North East, MD; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where friends may call from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM, prior to services. Interment will be private.
