Charles Wade Brewer, born on October 26, 1953, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2026, in Charlestown, Maryland. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend, whose presence enriched the lives of those around him.
Charles was known for his quiet strength and his deep love for the simple pleasures in life. He had a particular passion for crabbing and fishing, often spending time by the water which
brought him great peace and joy. Alongside these outdoor pursuits, Charles cherished the companionship of his cat, Squirt, who was a constant and comforting presence by his side.
Charles's legacy lives on through his devoted family. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Clinton, and her husband Jamie, of Elkton, Maryland; his step-daughter, Tiffany Drury, and her husband Joseph, of Clover, South Carolina; his step-sons Chris Grafton, Joey Grafton, and his wife Jessica, all residing in Charlestown, Maryland, his sister, Sandra Reese and her husband Kevin, of Lower Windsor, Pennsylvania and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren These family members carry forward his memory and the values he held dear.
He was predeceased by his parents, Talmadge and Frances Brewer, son C.J. Brewer, his daughter Amy Jimenez, his brothers Randal Brewer and Clifford Brewer, and his partner Drema Kay Grafton, whose memories Charles held close to his heart throughout his lifetime.
Family and friends will gather to honor Charles's life and legacy, on April 27, 2026 with the viewing beginning at 10:00 am with funeral services commencing at 11 :00 am. Interment will follow at North East Cemetery in North East, MD.
Charles Wade Brewer's life was marked by kindness, dedication to family, and a love of nature's gifts. He will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who knew him. His legacy endures in the hearts of his surviving family and friends, a testament to a life well lived.
