Charles Robert Betts

Charles Robert Betts, 88 of Bethel Park, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Born in Delaware County, PA, on March 5, 1935, he was the son of the late Charles Edison Betts and the late Emma (McCool) Betts.

He served his country proudly in the Delaware National Guard and retired from Chrysler where he worked as a lead supervisor.

In his spare time, Charles enjoyed boats and cars, and was an accomplished pilot, scuba diver and photographer.

Survived by three sons: Tommy Betts of Bear, DE, Gary Betts of Pittsburgh, PA and Richie Betts of Chicago, IL; one sister: Connie Betts of FL and two brothers: Jack Betts of NV and William Betts of FL; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his brother: Jack Betts.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
