Charles R. Armour

Charles R. “Charlie” Armour, 69 of Aberdeen, MD, died Friday, November 24, 2023 in the Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, MD.

Born in Christiana DE, on October 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Charles W. Armour, Jr. and Evelyn Marie (Blevins) Armour.

Charlie was retired, formerly employed by Johnson Controls for 20 years as a supervisor. He also worked in a family business, Scentsational Florals, assisting the design studios in the Baltimore area. Charlie lived a life in service to others. He was well-known for his exceptional generosity to friends, family and anyone in need, whether it be time, money, or just to lend an ear. Charlie was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and was known for critiquing professional sporting events.

Survived by his wife: Susan R. Armour; daughter: Kailey Peterson (Joe) of North East, MD and son: Justin P. Armour (Jess) of Northampton, PA; stepson: Eddie Garmzaban (Layla); two sisters: Denise Marie Calder and Candace Gayle Armour both of North East, MD; grandchildren: Kasey, Joe Jr., Camden, Jaxon, Peyton, Jacob, Olive, Rain, and Julian.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will immediately follow the service in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CASA of Elkton, in care of the funeral home.
