Catherine "Kitsy" Elaine (Byrd) Garrett

Catherine “Kitsy” Elaine Garrett, 65 of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at home.

Born in Elkton, MD, on December 28, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Raine) Byrd.

Kitsy was an artist.  In addition to her art, she also worked for Martha Barchowski, doing many duties in her home and business.

She was a member of American Legion Cecil Post 15, Elkton, MD.

Survivors include her daughter: Melissa "Missy" Ann Shipley of Elkton, MD and son: James "Jimbo" Earl Eastridge of North East, MD; two sisters: Bonnie Reynolds and Jane Hubbard both of North East, MD; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with funeral services conducted by Rev. James Moyers scheduled at 7:00 pm.
