Catherine Jean (Raine) Hager

Catherine Jean Hager, 86 of North East, MD, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at home.

Born in North East, MD, on October 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and the late Vera (Nickle) Raine.

Catherine enjoyed Delaware Park, TV Land, family gatherings, her friends at the Chuck House, and watching grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sporting events. She was a Supervisor of laundry service at Citizens Nursing Home before retiring.

She is survived by her daughter: Debra L. Dean of North East, MD; son: Thomas C. Bernhard of Harrington, DE; sister: Sue Richardson of Elkton, MD; Granddaughter: Tracy McCullough of Port Deposit, MD; grandson: Thomas C. Bernhard, Jr. of Milford, DE; granddaughter: Bobbie Jo Sargent of Elkton, MD; granddaughter: Shawn L. Parker of Chicago, IL;  also survived by 8 great- grand children.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Jim Jones, will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD., where the family will welcome friends from 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
