Carolyn C. Larkin

Carolyn C. Larkin, 82 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Paw Paw, WV, on July 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Belva McBride Crouse. She was the wife of the late William James Larkin, who preceded her in death on November 21, 2009. Mrs. Larkin retired from the University of Delaware in 1984. She was a member of the Paw Paw Methodist Church, Paw Paw, WV. She enjoyed reading, watching baseball and football, and games of all type. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her 4 children: Michael Larkin and his wife Linda of Wilmington, DE; Jane Larkin Paladino and her husband James of Tampa, FL; Ann Larkin Ferrazzo and her husband Anthony of Elkton, MD and Susan Larkin Laigaie and her husband David of Philadelphia, PA; 2 brothers: William Crouse and his wife Beatrice of Hanover, PA, Dale Crouse and his wife Linda of Augusta, WV; 6 grandchildren: Amie Smaciak, Jonathan Larkin, Daniel Nicholsen; Adriane, Anthony and Clinton Ferrazzo; and 4 great grandchildren: Kayleigh, Tyler, Luke and Seth. Memorial services, conducted by Father Samuel Hartman, will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 4:00 PM at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations made to Seasons Hospice, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
