Carolyn H. (Herron) Erikson

Carolyn H. Erikson, 90 of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 in the Laurelwood Healthcare Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Mark Wayne and Mary Bertha (Hallman) Herron.

Prior to her retirement, Carolyn worked as a kindergarten teacher.

She is survived by her daughter: Sandy Ferguson (Pete) of Elkton, MD; a sister: Ruth Johnson of Wilmington, DE; and two granddaughters: Jessica Ferguson of Charlotte, NC and Holly Ferguson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband: Alfred J. Erikson; and their son: John Erikson.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in Kemblesville Cemetery, Kemblesville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church, in care of the funeral home.
