Carlena "Jeannie" (Paxton) Johnson

Carlena “Jeannie” Paxton Johnson, 51 of North East, MD, died suddenly Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Elkton on June 24, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Carl and the late Gertrude (Blankenship) Paxton.

Jeannie enjoyed caring for her home and grandson, working in the yard and catalog shopping.

She is survived by her fiancé and soul mate: Thomas Johnson of North East, MD; grandson: Donte' Wesley of Elkton, MD; siblings: Ellen Rogers of Elkton, MD, Douglas Paxton of Louisville, KY and Donna Woodis of Elkton, MD; great nephew, Darnell Coursey of Elkton, MD; niece, Corren Johnson of Elkton, MD; and many other nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until service time.
