Carey Ann Nutter Crouch, of Conowingo, Maryland, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 8, 2026. She was 52 years old.

Born on March 12, 1974, Carey was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. She was a gentle and loving woman whose greatest treasures were her family, her faith, and the companionship of her beloved cats.

Carey especially cherished the time she spent with her mother, Mary. Their time together was precious to her, and she held a special place in her heart for her family. Carey also found comfort and inspiration in reading the Bible, which was an important part of her life and faith.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Nutter of North East; her brother, David Nutter and his wife, Julia, of Elkton; and her nieces, Mia Nutter and Kennedy Nutter. She will also be remembered with love by all who knew her and were fortunate enough to share in her life.

Carey's quiet kindness, gentle spirit, love of family, and faithful heart will remain in the memories of those who loved her. Though she is deeply missed, her family takes comfort in the love she gave so freely and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., North East, Maryland.
