Bruce Erwin Bresnick, Sr., 79 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, May 25, 2007 in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Essex, MD, on December 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Victor and the late Lydia Gellert Bresnick. He was the loving husband of 58 years of Dorothy A. Bresnick of Elkton, MD. He served In the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bruce worked at Sparrow's Point, Bethlehem Steel for 38 years and retired in July 1983. He retired as a Master Mechanic and Assistant Supervisor of the Tin Mill. Bruce was a member and involved with the Masons since 1953. He was also a Lions Club member and past president of the Overlea Lions in 1970. His loves were his family, grandkids and his two pets, Gaby and Pepper. He loved life, golf, fishing, boating and the Maryland Terrapins. He loved you all! In addition to his loving wife, survivors include: his daughter and son-in-law: Christie A. and Scott M. Shindel of Abingdon, MD; his son and daughter-in-law: Buddy E. and Grace S. Bresnick of White Hall, MD; and a sister: Amanda Hanna of Livonia, NY. He was the loving grandfather to Brandon M. Shindel, Adam L. Shindel and Melissa G. Bresnick. He was also the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Pastor John Burk will officiate. Interment will be in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
