Brent Arthur Swartz

Brent Arthur Swartz, 65 of North East, MD, passed away at home Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Born on October 10, 1958, he was the son of Margaret “Peggy” (Last) Swartz and the late, Eugene Swartz.

Brent retired from the family company, Swartz & Sons as the Operations Manager.

He would spend his time driving the Amish and collecting vintage cars. He loved being a mentor to his grandson Matthew, going fishing and spending time together. Brent’s “happy place” was being in his garage listening to music and drinking PBR. In his younger years, Brent enjoyed scuba diving.

Brent is survived by his wife: Cathy (Fuller) Swartz; brothers: Brock, Benjamin, Branan and Bartly Swartz; his mother: Margaret “Peggy” (Last) Swartz; step grandson: Matthew Vincenti; cousins: Jim, Greg, Rick and Chris Swartz; and nephew: James Swartz; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 831 Aiken Avenue, Perryville, MD.

Interment will follow services in Rock Run Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD.
