Brenda Joyce (Blake) Rinehart

Brenda Joyce Rinehart, 73 of North East, MD, died Friday, November 24, 2023 in the John's Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

Born in Renick, WV, on March 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late James O. and Margaret E. (Snedagar) Blake.

Brenda retired in 2012 as a secretary at Charlestown Elementary School. She was known for her cooking.

Survived by her husband: Paul Rinehart; her daughters: Michele Jennings of North East, MD and Shawna Singleton of Perryville, MD; and her son: Jason Rinehart of North East, MD; sisters: Susie Thompson of North East, MD and Bonnie Hinton of Dover, DE. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister: Connie Hamby; and brothers: Larry Blake and James O. Blake.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow services in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
