Brenda Joyce Kelley

Brenda Joyce Kelley, 58 of Elkton, MD, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jolo, WV, on May 5, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Lee McClanahan and Wilma Green Hutchinson of Newark, DE. Mrs. Kelley was the beloved wife of Thomas Kelley of Elkton, MD. She was a member of the Ladies Aux. VFW Post #8175, Elkton, MD and the Moose Lodge Cherry Hill, MD. She enjoyed cooking. In addition to her loving husband and mother, she is survived by her two sons: Bobby J. Tankersley, Jr. and Kevin R. Tankersley of Elkton, MD; four brothers: Dewey A. McClanahan of New Castle, DE, Terry A. McClanahan of Elkton, MD, Darrell E. McClanahan of North East, MD, Brian K. McClanahan of North East, MD; a grandson, Kevin T. Tankersley and 4 step grandchildren: Harli and Brianna Newton, Kaitlyn Watson and Lacey Wilson all of Elkton, MD. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. Rev. Glenn Bromwell will officiate.
