Brenda Kay (Gwaltney) Davis

Brenda Kay Davis, 70 of North East, MD, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in WV, on March 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Birney and Wanda Gwaltney.

She was the wife of the late Johnny Davis.

She had previously worked in fireworks manufacturing and enjoyed working puzzles and crossword puzzles.

Brenda loved helping others as much as she could.  As a donor, even in death she will continue to live on in the lives of those she helped.

Survivors include her children: Shirley Hodge of Rising Sun, MD, Cathy Davis of North East, MD, Paula Ward of North East, MD; a sister: Alma Cornett of Kennett Square, PA; 14 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Brenda was also preceded in death by her son: John Davis.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
