Brenda Sue (Messick) Cartwright

Brenda Sue Cartwright, 61 of North East, MD, died Friday, February 15, 2013 at home.

Born in Northampton County, VA, on August 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late William Ralph and the late Betty Ann (Blakemore) Messick.

Mrs. Cartwright worked in banking prior to her retirement.  She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Elkton, MD.

Survivors include her loving husband: David L. Cartwright; a daughter: Stephanie A. Harris(Mark) of North East, MD and a son: David 'Scott' Cartwright of Elkton, MD; and 2 granddaughters: Ashley and Megan Harris.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Richard Messick.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment will follow in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
