Bonnie Marie Boulden, 78, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Born on August 14, 1948, in Elkton, Maryland, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Ira Graham Boulden and Annie Kline Boulden.
A lifelong resident of the area, Bonnie devoted her career to caring for and serving others. She was a longtime employee of Bayside Community Network, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of those she served.
Bonnie will be remembered for her caring heart, generous spirit, and the love she so freely shared with her family and those around her. She found joy and meaning in the simple moments of life and in the relationships she built throughout the years. Her presence brought comfort, warmth, and familiarity to those fortunate enough to know her, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who loved her.
Bonnie is survived by her grandsons, Kenneth W. Eanes, Jr. and Zachary R. Hauth; her great-grandchildren, Bronson and Piper; her sisters, Verla Ann Farr, Vivian Renn, Elsie Tuell, Connie King, and Robin Gervais; and her cousin and longtime best friend, Verla Fredrick, who shared many years of friendship and treasured memories with Bonnie. She is also survived by her younger cousins, whom she adored, Landon and Jayde Scarborough, and many extended family members and friends who will lovingly cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Boulden; her sisters, Irene Clever and Penny Copen; and her brother, James M. Russell.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at North East Methodist Cemetery, 101 Cemetery Road, North East, Maryland 21901. A celebration of life will immediately follow from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Cecil County Memorial VFW Post 6027, 815 Turkey Point Road, North East, Maryland 21901.
Bonnie's life was a gift to those who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will be treasured, and she will be lovingly remembered for years to come.
