Bonnie Marie (Ewing) Blevins

Bonnie Marie Blevins, 68 of North East, MD passed away peacefully on Saturday early morning, May 4, 2024. Bonnie’s loving family was at her side and been with her all evening before.

Born in Elkton, MD on March 15, 1956 Bonnie was the daughter of the late, Hilda Marie (Rea) and William Everett (Sonny) Ewing.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter: Valerie Weaver Gilbert; her son: James Blevins; and her brothers: Ricky and Sherman Ewing.

Surviving Bonnie is her husband of 45 years: Edward Blevins; and her sons: Richard Blevins (Melissa) of North East, MD and William (Bubby) Beazley of Port Deposit, MD. Bonnie leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Brenda Blevins, Eddie Blevins (Alyssa), Kaitlynn Gilbert, Shaun Blevins, Hailey Smalley (Robbie), James Blevins, Alorrah Blevins, Jordan Beazley and Brendan Beazley.

In addition, Bonnie is survived by her siblings: Billy Ewing (Sandy), Vicky Blevins and Johnny Ewing. Bonnie was close to and is survived by her aunt: Verna (Frederick) Thomas of North East, MD.

The main objective of Bonnie’s life was caring for Eddie and their family, a large family it is! A friend of Bonnie’s recently said, “She always had a flock around her.” That is the perfect description of how Bonnie lived her life.

Over the years, Bonnie helped raise many members of her family and did it with much love and care. She loved to cook and bake; she made a mean carrot cake! Bonnie is irreplaceable and will be missed by so many.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
