Born in Memphis, TN, on August 13, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Hezzie Bonham and the late Elsie Reiter (Bonham).
Billye was a successful Residential/Commercial Real Estate Agent. She was very active in politics.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years: Lewis R. Jackson, Jr.; her son: Stanley Strencejewski; her daughter: Linda Berkhimer and her husband Allen: 5 grandchildren: Ian Strencejewski, Tara Sonnier, Emily Berkhimer, Melinda Van Der Werff and Dawn Reynolds; 5 great-grandchildren: Abby Reynolds, Amber Baker, Zachary Berkhimer, Alli Sonnier and Sean Van Der Werff; and 2 stepchildren: Michael L. Jackson and Patrick Ross Jackson.
