Billy Brown Wright

Billy Brown Wright, 72 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rock, WV, on July 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Clarence B. and the late Willie Meadows Wright. Mr. Wright was the beloved husband of Beatrice Wright of North East, MD. He owned and operated his own truck. He enjoyed gardening, wine making, guitar playing, bluegrass and country music. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his children: Donna Mullen of Townsend, DE, Kenneth Wright of Elkton, MD and Lucinda Parks of Rising Sun, MD; two sisters: Frances Schaen of Newark, DE, Retha Mae Petty of Amissville, VA; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation for family and friends in Maryland will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with funeral services beginning at 8:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends in West Virginia will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Dodd and Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, WV, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow services in the Osburn Family Cemetery, Webster Springs, WV.
