Billy Joe Tribble

Billy Joe Tribble, 81 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, August 5, 2011 at home. Born in Johnson City, TN, on September 10, 1929, he was the son of the late William B. and the late Lola Belle Miller Tribble. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Trojan Yacht in Elkton, MD. Billy is survived by: one son: William J. Tribble of Elkton, MD; two sisters: Evelyn Lockard of North East, MD, Elizabeth Barker of Chesapeake City, MD and one brother: Robert Tribble of Warrensville, NC; two grandchildren: Craig Haley and Emily Tribble; and a great grandson, Braeden Simpers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Emily Mae Clark; two sisters, Wilma Blevins and Elaine Tribble; and two brothers: Harry and Leroy Tribble. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. Stephen Hokuf will be held Monday, August 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment with military honors will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
