Bhanumati Patel

Smt. Bhanumati Patel, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on October 10, 1943, in Gujarat, India, Bhanumati grew up as the youngest of five siblings in the serene village of Karamsad. Driven by unwavering determination, she became the first in her family to pursue higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. In 1969, she married the late Chittaranjan Patel and began a new chapter in Ahmedabad, where she devoted herself to raising their two children. Bhanumati was a beacon of warmth and resilience, facing life’s challenges with strength and grace. She embraced her role as a mother and grandmother wholeheartedly, always ready with a warm embrace and a loving smile. She will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, kind heart, and remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel deeply loved. Her love knew no bounds, and her gentle presence brought joy to all who knew her. She is survived by her two children, Pauravi and Tapan; five grandchildren, Saagar, Suraj, Maya, Priya, and Riya; four dogs; and twelve chickens. Her legacy of love and sacrifice will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
