Betty Marie Testerman

Betty Marie Testerman, 68 of Rising Sun, MD, died Thursday, August 6, 2009 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton, MD, on September 18, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Grady and the late Pearl Mae Jones Madron. Mrs. Testerman was the beloved wife of Art Testerman of Rising Sun, MD. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, yard sales, being outdoors, the Tuesday seafood at Shady Maple, the beach and cooking shows. She loved her little Jack Russell Terrier, Player and was a member of the Human Society. In addition to her husband, survivors include: her children: Tony Brown of Willow Street, PA, Mike Brown of Wrightsville, PA, Wanda Miller of Millersville, PA, and Tracey Nadu of Liverpool, PA; five stepchildren: William Testerman of ME, Linda Parsons of TX, Sandra Testerman of Rising Sun, MD, Julie Ward of TX and Brian Testerman of Beavertown, PA; her siblings: Ruth Madron of Havre de Grace, MD, Mary Renn of Bel Air, MD, Paul Madron of New Castle, DE, Wanda Gross of Perryville, MD; 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Brown. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM. Rev. Mary Dye will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Rising Sun Church of God, in care of the funeral home.
