Betty Pearl Jones

Betty Pearl Jones, 80 of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD with her loving family by her side. Born in Rock Hall, MD, on January 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William and Armitta Higgins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Paul Jones, Jr. a grandson, Robert Paul Jones, IV and a step-daughter, Shirley Lorden. She is survived by her children: Betty Walsh & her companion, Albert R. Hamilton, Sr., of Elkton, MD, Pat Suit & husband Jimmy, Bobby & Sharon Jones all of Charlestown, MD, Jaye Long & Smokie of North East, MD, William E. Jones of Charlestown, MD, James Jones, of Perryville, MD, 2 step-daughters, Missy & husband Mike of Agency, Iowa, Kathy Carlow of Bear, DE, 26 grandchildren, 31 great=grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2009 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where family and friends may visit at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
