Bernice Harold Roark
Bernice Harold Roark, 94 of Perryville, MD, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at home. Born in Ash County, NC, on November 22, 1914, he was the son of the late Emmett Green and the late Nora Lee Graybeal Roark. He retired from Armstrong Flooring in Lancaster, PA where he was employed as a Supervisor in Shipping and Receiving. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball and baseball. Survivors include his wife: Pauline Roark, of Strongsville, OH; and his children: Patton H. Roark, Sr. of Perryville, MD and Margaret Ann Scott of Lakeland, FL; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Badger Funeral Home, 300 North Main Street, West Jefferson, NC. Interment will be in Piney Creek Methodist Cemetery, Jefferson, NC.
