Bernice Homan Assel, 87 of North East, MD, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at home. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 21, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Pearl Donley Homan. She was the wife of Charles Wilson Assel who passed away in 1991. Graveside services were held Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazier, PA.
