Basil Goodwin

Basil "Woody" Goodwin of Elkton, MD went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2006. Woody was born in Boone County, West Virginia on August 24, 1924. He came to Cecil County in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic from 1945-1951. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Loretta, of Lititz, PA, a daughter, Sherry Mohnshine of Lititz, PA, a son, B. Terry Goodwin of North East, MD, a sister, Pauline Jiannieny of Elkton, MD, a sister, Shirley Lester of Elkhart, IN, and six grandchildren whom he dearly loved. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where friends and family may call from 1:00PM until 2:00 PM. Rev. Ralph Massie of the North East Church of God will officiate. Interment will be Monday, June 26, 2006 in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
