Barbara Jean Treece

Barbara Jean Treece, 67 of Havre De Grace, MD, went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 22, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bel Air, MD, on November 25, 1940, she was the daughter of the late George O. and the late Martha A. Grace Dishman. Most recently, she worked as a Home Caregiver. In her younger years, she worked at Bata Shoes. She was a member of Faith City Ministries, Havre de Grace, MD, where she was very active. Survivors include her children: Connie Comer McDonald of Conowingo, MD, Martin Eugene Comer of Street, MD, Robert Joseph Treece, Jr. of Allen Park, MI; three sisters: Nancy Carol Watson of Churchville, MD, Shirley Henry Lyons of Strasburg, PA, Dorothy Faye Cook of Zepheyrhills, FL; 6 grandchildren: Jacqueline Wilson, Jessica Healey, Russell Comer, Michael Little, Leanna Comer, Jade Treece; and 2 great grandchildren: Jazlyn and Juliana Healey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Opal Bennington. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 26, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM. Pastor Roger Eastridge will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Colora, MD.
