Barbara Marie Collins

Barbara Marie Collins, 68 of North East, MD, died suddenly Monday, January 31, 2011 in the Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD surrounded by her family and friends. Born in PA, on January 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Horace Wiggins and the late Ethel Brewer. Mrs. Collins was the beloved wife of 47 years of Delbert Collins, North East, MD. A member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, Nottingham, PA, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and vacationing at the beach. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her children: Kelley Travis and her husband Michael of North East, MD, Jason Collins of Rising Sun, MD and Amy Collins and her husband Tim of North East, MD; her siblings: Beverly Zielinski of Westminster, MD, Brenda Thomas of Elkton, MD, Dawana Humphries of Elkton, MD, Dorothy Luckett of Frankfort, KY and Jeff Wiggins of North East, MD; her grandchildren: Brittany Mahoney and her husband Ryan, Cortney Hammer, Joseph Travis, Allyson Hammer, McKenzie Hammer, Tyler Howard and great granddaughter, Kylie Mahoney. Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Gary Moore will be held Friday, February 4, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, Nottingham, PA, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday starting at one hour before services.
