Barbara Ann Ball, 63 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
Born in Banner Elk, NC, on December 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and the late Ada (Buchanan) Grindstaff. Barbara was the beloved wife of Robert H. “Bobby” Ball.
A resident of Cecil County for over 42 years, she retired from Christiana School District where she enjoyed working with underprivileged children.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children: Christopher Grindstaff (Jada) of Roan Mountain, TN, Heather Reid of Spartanburg, SC and Donnie Ball (Julie) of Elkton, MD; 8 grandchildren: Cody, Laura, McKenzie, McIntyre, John, Justin, Kimmie and Calystia; 2 brothers: James B. and Harlin Grindstaff; a sister: Juanita Mabry; and her sister-in-law: Bonnie Brison of North East, MD.
The family will receive guests on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
