Barbara Rose Anderson

Barbara Rose Ellen Elizabeth Anderson, 86 of North East, MD, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.Born in Welch, WV, on December 25, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George Michael and the late Barbara Theresa Reiger Papas.Mrs. Anderson was an assembly line worker for RMR in Elkton, MD. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, and gardening.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Anderson who died in 1994, and her son, David R. Anderson, who died in 2002.Survivors include her children, Linda L. Justus of North East, MD, and Donald R. Anderson of Springville, AL; her sister, Helen Burwell of Winston Salem, NC; 5 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Friends may call Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to The American Heart Association, 1096 Old Churchman's Road, Newark, DE 19713.
