Audrey Buryl Meadows

Audrey Buryl Meadows, 84 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 at her home. Born in Penn Springs, WV, on August 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Jim and the late Lillie Belle Cox Meadows. She was as a self employed housekeeper working in the Elkton area. Mrs. Meadows was a member of the Pentecostal Movement and enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, cooking, and canning. Survived by five daughters: Eva Anderson of Spring Lake, NC, Josephine Mayfield Walker of Pensacola, FL, Freeda Justice of Spring Lake, NC, Lila Anderson of Lewisville, MS, Brenda Davis of North East, MD and two sons: James M. Meadows of Zanesville, OH, Connie Gerald Meadows of Newark, DE; 23 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by her husband, Orrace John Meadows; and her son, Orville Orrace Lee Meadows. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday August 2, 2005 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 Main Street, North East, MD. Burial will be in the Church of Christ Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
