Audrey Evelyn Kreider

Audrey Evelyn Kreider, 79 of North East, MD, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Caraway Manor, Elkton, MD. Born in New Haven, CT, on June 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Nellie Wray LaBunde. She was the wife of the late Joseph Benjamin Kreider who died on October 6, 2004. Mrs. Kreider worked at Hamilton Watch in Lancaster, PA in her earlier years. She was a member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church, Leola, PA where she enjoyed the bible study groups. She also enjoyed boating and was a member of Hances Point Yacht Club. Survivors include her children: Carol D. Cameron and her husband Bruce of North East, MD; Brenda Faulkner of St. Petersburg, FL; Dennis Kreider of FL; one sister: Joy Nagy and her husband Albert of St. Petersburg, FL; a half-brother: Arthur LaBunde, Jr. of VA; 5 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Spencer. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hill Mennonite Church, 100 Quarry Road, Leola, PA, with visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 AM. Pastor Paul Burkholder will officiate. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Ephrata, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Caraway Manor Nursing Home, c/o Crouch Funeral Home.
