Arthur R. 'Dickie' Briscoe, Sr.
A lifelong resident of North East, MD, he was born on February 17, 1951, the son of the late Chris Ann (Briscoe).
Dickie was a mason. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbeques, dogs and drag racing.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years: A. Vanessa (Roberts) Briscoe; five grandchildren: Shawn Briscoe and Nichol Carraras both of Elkton, MD, Taylor, Haley and Evan Briscoe all of Dover, DE; one great grandson: Rolland James Briscoe; two sisters: Jean Manning of Elkton, MD, Linda Briscoe of New Castle, DE; one brother: Jay Briscoe of North East, MD; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son: Arthur Rolland Briscoe, Jr., and a sister: Nancy Ann Briscoe.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 am at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 9:00 am until 10:30 am.
Interment will follow services in St,. Marks AUMP Cemetery, Elk Neck, North East, MD.
