Arthur Cullen Bowers

Arthur Cullen Bowers, 66 of North East, MD died in the Sunbridge Nursing Home, Sunday, October 23, 2005 where he was surrounded by his family and special friends. Born in Elkton, MD, on October 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Guy Elliot and the late Laura Fritz bowers. Mr. Bowers worked as a Steel Fabricator, employed by Wiley's Manufacturing in Port Deposet, MD. He enjoyed model airplaines. He valued his quiet time by reading many wester novels. Mr. Bowers ventured outdoors to go fishing and work on his yard often. Talking with his sister for hours at a time was something he enjoyed as well. He especially enjoyed his companionship with his dog Zelma. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Arthur C. Bowers. Survivors include 3 daughters, Sandra D. McDonald of Elkton, MD, Linda L. Sten and Laruie A. Farmer, Both of North East, MD; sisters, Doris Speck of North East, MD and Verma Finneseht of Longboay Key, FL; and 6 grandchildren. Funeral servcice will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where Friends and family may call from 1:00 PM untill 2:00 PM. Rev. Mary Browne, St. John's United Methodist Church, Charlestown, MD will officiate. Interment will be held at the Principio Cemetery.
