Arnold Davis

Arnold Davis, 95 of Mt. Pleasant, SC, formerly of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Born in Wise, VA, on September 2, 1912, he was the son of the late Silas Paul and the late Cora Lee Powers Davis. He was the husband of the late Helen Virginia Smith Davis who died on Nov. 20, 2001. He was retired having worked as a Carpenter/Sawmiller. Survivors include his children: Jack T. Davis of Elkton, MD; Patricia L. Hylton of Elkton, MD; Gerrie Dean of Elkton, MD; Roger A. Davis of Monroe, NC; Lawrence Davis of Dallas, GA; Michael Davis of Creve Cove, IL; Cathy Scherer of St. Petersburg, FL; Deborah Fabijanic of Mount Pleasant, SC; and Donna Davis of Charlotte, NC; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Shelby Jean Davis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rev. Delmer Duvall will officiate. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
