Arlene Johanna Mccloskey

Arlene Johanna McCloskey, 74 of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Regal Heights Healthcare, Hockessin, DE. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on June 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Helen Moore Kostic. She was the wife of the late Edward Joseph McCloskey who died on November 16, 2004. Mrs. McCloskey worked as a secretary, retiring from DuPont. She was a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, North East, MD. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Sweet Adeline's. She loved the beach, but most of all she loved the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Tracy Rubini of Elkton, MD and Sean McCloskey of Manassas, VA; her grandchildren: Jordan, Nicholas, Jacob, Megan and Colin; and her sister: Dolores Ritchie of Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 9:00 AM until10:45 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. Father John Solomon will officiate. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
