Arlene Marie (Cole) Knerr
Born in Toledo, OH, on May 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry James and the late Elizabeth (Meyers) Cole. She was the wife of the late George Patrick Knerr who died in 2000.
Prior to her retirement, Arlene was a Tax Auditor for the City of Toledo. She enjoyed bowling at Elkton Lanes and playing cards.
Survivors include her children: Sharon M. Wilson of North East, MD, Kathleen S. Fitzpatrick of Elkton, MD, Ronald Eugene Distel of Elmore, OH and Gary Preston Weller of Dayton, OH; a sister: Lorene Swearengen of MN; 2 brothers: Kenneth and Roger Cole, both of Parma, OH; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
