Annis F. Levering Annis Flossie Levering, age 91, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2003, at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Grayson County, Virginia, on March 21, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Hughey C. and Phoebe Spencer Walls. She was a homemaker.Mrs. Levering was the wife of the late Nelson Arthur Levering, who passed away on December 13, 2000. She is survived by her three children, Ann Culley, Rising Sun, Maryland, Joy Dorsey, Richmond, Virginia, and Dean Levering, Elkton, Maryland, ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2003, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland, where family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Her son-in-law, Rev. Jim Dorsey, of Richmond, Virginia, will officiate. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, Maryland. The family will appreciate flowers.
