Anne Marie Schramm

Anne Marie Schramm (Nancy) of Elkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nancy was the daughter of the late James and Anne (Carr) Hagans.

She was the beloved wife of the late George Thomas Schramm, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Together they raised their seven children in Colwyn, Pennsylvania, before retiring to Elkton, Maryland.

Nancy was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She was an active member of St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church in North East, Maryland, and a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order.

She is survived by her daughters: Anne Marie (Nancy) Schramm, Janice Ervin, and Karen Forgeng; and her sons: Robert Schramm (Rosemary), Michael Schramm (Susan), Stephen Schramm, and George Dean Schramm (Ada).

She is also survived by her grandsons: Robert Schramm, Jr., Barry Forgeng, Michael Forgeng, Wolfgang Schramm, and Dietrich Schramm; her granddaughters: Carolyn Ervin, Alison Ervin, Katherine Schramm, Marissa Schramm, Tatiana Schramm, and Adrianna Schramm; three great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law Theresa Schramm.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same church. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064.
