Anne J. Lynch passed away peacefully at home in North East, MD on December 13, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was 94 years old.
Lynch (nee Palco) was born in New Castle, PA on May 20, 1918. She married John M. Lynch, Sr., her late husband, of McAdoo, PA in 1948.
A 1937 graduate of New Castle High School, Anne graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and spent her career as a nurse anesthetist for more than 40 years. She retired from Sacred Heart Hospital and Crozier Chester Medical Center in Chester, PA.
Anne loved all animals, especially her pugs and many other cats and dogs she cared for over the years. She was an avid news viewer, crossword puzzle enthusiast and reader of true crime books, and also enjoyed to crochet gifts for family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter Christine A. Bolcer and son-in-law Joseph W. Bolcer of North East, MD; son John M. Lynch, Jr. of Nottingham, PA; son Mark S. Lynch of Amasa, MI; four granddaughters; and sister Emily Kozak of Elgin, SC. Brothers Michael and John Palco predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Saint Jude Mission Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD with internment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Elkton, MD.
